Please have your tickets printed out or ready to show from your phone upon arrival. If you purchased tickets through Tututix, and cannot find them in your email, do a quick search for Etix and they will pop right up.
Online ticket sales conclude a week before recital, but as long as tickets are still available, you may purchase them in person on rehearsal or recital day.
Dancers should be dressed and ready in their costume for their first recital dance number prior to their designated show start time. Bring ALL costumes, shoes and accessories to Recital. THERE ARE NO EXTRAS! All costumes, shoes and accessories need to be labeled with your child's name.
If YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 4, NO PANTIES ARE TO BE WORN UNDER TIGHTS! All tights should be hole and tear-free.
HAIR:
ALL HAIR MUST BE UP AND OUT OF YOUR DANCER'S FACE FOR REHEARSAL AND RECITAL!
*Note: If you have a tiny dancer, try and make sure their hair is pulled out of her face. Also, make sure headpieces are secure so they will not fall off on stage
MAKEUP:
All dancers will need makeup on for their performance. We want to see their pretty faces, stage lights will wash them out without it.
(Lipstick, gloss, eyeshadow, blush and mascara)
After dancers are dropped off in the dressing rooms, our teachers and helpers will walk their class over to the theater.
They get to be BACKSTAGE the entire time AND THEY LOVE IT!
No parents backstage only dancers and teachers.
All dancers of all ages have learned this dance. Your child may wear their costume or their preordered recital t-shirts (if ordered) over the costume. At the end of this dance, we drop balloons. The little dancers LOVE IT!
The curtains then close, and at this time, you will return to the dressing room to pick up your dancer.
Please be patient, this takes some time to make sure everyone is released to their guardian safely.
Again, no dancers will be released in the auditorium.
Flowers and gifts for students are welcome at the recital, but should not be presented to the dancer backstage. Please wait until your child is through dancing to present the flowers or gifts. We would hate for you to lose their treats and Gloria's Flower Shop will be there as well with their flower bouquets. We will have a few gifts for to purchase in the lobby while supplies last.
The Recital Theme & T-Shirt Logo Are A FUN SURPRISE EVERY YEAR!
Our dancers have the best time trying to guess the theme! The dancers love to wear these shirts in the Finale Dance of the recital!
They are a great cover-up and recital surprise for your child!
Recital T-shirt orders are to be picked at dance rehearsal DROP OFF on Saturday, May 31.
Flash photography is PROHIBITED during the recital performances. You may video from your seat, but you may not bring a Tri-pod. You may take photos without a flash from your seat. Please do not walk to the stage to take pictures. This is dangerous for the dancers performing on stage as well as distracting to the guests around you trying to watch the show.
